Charlene is also a QECT Thematic Lead for Education and Employability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>QECT thematic area<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Charlene and Alian\u2019s collaborative work covers the areas of education and employability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Operational countries<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This collaboration focuses on school children in Cameroon, Central Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sustainable Development Goals covered<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Goal 4: Quality education<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Project description<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Charlene and Alian are collaborating on an ongoing basis on a back-to-school project. Both of their organisations are providing educational supplies and food for vulnerable children at a school in Cameroon. Through this work, Alian and Charlene are empowering these children and enabling their learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Outcomes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through Welfare Aid For The Future, Alain provided 25 school bags and notebooks, while Charlene provided 25 academic packs, along with food. These supplies were given to vulnerable children at Lyc\u00e9e de Ngousso Ngoulmekong, which is a partner school of Rising Hope Foundation Cameroon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Future plans<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alain and Charlene intend to continue their collaboration and hope to reach 2,000 children in Cameroon via their back-to-school project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Alian says:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt was such an honour for Welfare Aid For The Future to contribute to Charlene\u2019s work and to support her project to oversee the needs of the vulnerable students of Lyc\u00e9e de Ngousso Ngoulmekong.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Charlene says:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;It was a true honour for Rising Hope Foundation Cameroon to deliver one of our most powerful actions this year, which was supporting vulnerable children of our partner school Lyc\u00e9e de Ngousso Ngoulmekong.
