Project description<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alice and Lizza have been collaborating on grant research and writing. Their work together was sparked by the Network’s Collaborative Connections Programme. This made them aware of each other’s initiatives, and they started to look for opportunities where they could apply for grants together. On an ongoing basis, they research together, share findings, and review each other’s applications before they’re submitted. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Outcomes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This ongoing support has been mutually beneficial, with them both receiving successful responses from grantmakers and getting through to subsequent stages of the processes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lizza says:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It’s the whole idea of not doing it alone. As a young leader with limited networks and connections, anxiety can creep in. It’s hard to get your vision and dream out there. Working with Alice has been great. It’s good to work with another leader that understands the feeling of creating an environment that’s safe and supportive \u2013 knowing that we are both working to contribute to amplifying girls and women’s voices.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
