There is a link between Justice and Malnutrition and JDA was setting up a Justice and Early Childhood Development Project.\u00a0 Lesego\u2019s work in the children\u2019s health sector was vital and after messaging her, we established opportunities where we could work together to impact our communities. We have since undertaken mutually beneficial activities for our organisations. We jointly conducted talks and trainings on malnutrition and its link to children\u2019s rights and justice.\u00a0 I would not have found her without QECT\u2019s Network hub\u201d Jessica Dewhurst<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/queenscommonwealthtrust.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Lesego-Marotholi-Outreach.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1970\" srcset=\"https:\/\/queenscommonwealthtrust.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Lesego-Marotholi-Outreach.jpg 768w, https:\/\/queenscommonwealthtrust.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Lesego-Marotholi-Outreach-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Lesego Ndhlovu &#8211; Co-founder of Marotholi Outreach<\/em>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cJessica and I met through the QECT Network and since then, our organisations have jointly hosted panel discussions on malnutrition and its link to justice issues. JDA has been providing Marotholi with safeguarding training and are also helping us develop a child protection policy. Since JDA has been in existence longer than we have, they have been great sounding boards with Jessica often connecting me to resourceful people for my line of work. For example, through her connection, I met the Chairperson of Philani Health, and we are now working towards a national call to petition the South African government for better child and maternal
